The United States men's basketball team is stacked with talent. Throughout practices and exhibition games this summer, the team's main focus has been to make all that talent work together as a cohesive unit. Tonight's exhibition game—and potential gold-medal preview—against Spain should serve as a good test of how far the team's chemistry has advanced.

Team USA starting point guard Chris Paul explained the team's focus on chemistry, drawing inspiration from USA Basketball's Hoops for Troops events at the Nike World Basketball Festival: "One of the biggest things that they preach in the Armed Forces is trust. Obviously if you're going out on the battlefield, you have to trust the man next to you. So the first priority for us is to trust each other on our team."
