LeBron's Already Back in the Gym Getting After It, Has a Message for His Haters

LeBron James doesn't do breaks.

He barely took a day off last summer after leading the Cleveland Cavaliers to the 2016 NBA Championship.

So what'd you expect LeBron to do after coming up short against the Golden State Warriors in the 2017 NBA Finals? Spend the rest of the summer binge-watching Netflix and inhaling Ben & Jerry's? Come on—you know King James better than that.

It's been just two days since the official end of the 2016-2017 NBA season and LeBron is already grinding. He shared a photo on Instagram of himself in his personal gym with the caption "Back at it! #striveforgreatness":

LeBron also posted a video of him rapping along to Tee Grizzley's "First Day Out":

LeBron included the hashtag "#IHearEmPrayingOnMyDownfall" in the caption.

While plenty of people would love for King James to fall off, the numbers tell a different story. The 32-year-old James just posted 33.6 points, 12 rebounds and 10 assists per game on 56.4% shooting during the Finals, and he did it against arguably the greatest team ever assembled. Those numbers are actually more impressive than what he did during the 2016 Finals when the Cavaliers won, as James averaged 29.7 points, 11.3 rebounds and 8.9 assists per game on 49.4% shooting during that series.

At this point, Cavs-Warriors part IV next June seems all but inevitable.
