WATCH: Vontae Davis's Half-Box Squat with Plate

Indianapolis Colts CB Vontae Davis shows off his strength in the weight room this off-season.

When NFL CB Vontae Davis was traded by the Dolphins to the Colts in 2012, it was a turn for the better. After two stellar seasons, he re-signed with the Colts on a 4-year, $39 million deal. He was a starter in the 2015 Pro Bowl.

Davis credits coach Chuck Pagano for much of his recent success. "He taught [that] things you do outside the building carry over to what you do in the building," Davis said.

It's clear that Davis is hard at work preparing for the 2015 season. The 26-year-old recently posted a video to Instagram showing him performing a Half-Box Squat with a weighted plate.  The "leg Burn is UNREAL," he captioned.

Staying at the bottom half of the range of motion keeps the muscles especially activated, particularly the glutes and quads. Looks pretty mean, but check it out for yourself.
