The great cruelty of of Chandler Parsons the basketball player is that his body constantly revolts against him, limiting his basketball greatness to brief spurts and flashes. Parsons' knees have been the biggest culprit. The former Florida Gator hasn't played more than 70 regular season NBA games since the 2013-2014 season because of a gimpy right knee.
Parsons underwent microfracture surgery on his right knee in May of 2015, then had another surgery on the same knee over the summer, causing him to miss the Memphis Grizzlies' first few games. Now dealing with a bone bruise in his left knee, he has played in just six of the Grizzlies' first 20 games.
So you can understand Parsons' frustration. When he was asked during a Twitter Q&A what he'd like for Christmas, his answer reflected what most Grizzlies fans are probably wishing for too.

Last season, as a member of the Dallas Mavericks, Parsons shot a career high 41 percent from deep before going under the knife in March, He has the ability to stretch the floor, which the Grizzlies desperately need. If Santa is listening, let's hope Parsons gets what he wants or Christmas.
