This year, New York Knicks star Carmelo Anthony got upgrades—not only in teammates (to wit., the explosive performance of rookie forward Kristaps Porzingis), but also in the footwear department.
Jordan Brand has unveiled official images of the Jordan Melo M12, a shoe inspired by what Anthony calls "the dungeon," a rec center in his home town of Baltimore where he spent much of his time as a youngster, honing his game.
The M12 features flex grooves in the midsole that allow the shoe to move with your foot as you bound around the basketball court. FlightSpeed technology in the sole facilitates maximum responsiveness through air units in the shoe's cushioning.
The Jordan Melo M12 will officially release on Jan. 2, 2016, priced at $160. A slew of additional colorways will follow through the rest of the year.
