Just in time for the summer concert season, Kid Rock has announced that he is selling tickets for $20 for all the shows on his 2013 U.S. summer tour.

Rock also plans to charge no more than $5 for service fees, zero parking fees and "moderate prices" for beer at all 29 stops on his aptly named "$20 Best Night Ever" tour.

Rock made the announcement via a message posted to his website.

"Everyone knows the economy is still hurting people across the country, but I didn't want that to be a reason why everyone couldn't get out and enjoy themselves on a summer night," Rock said. "So we're going to throw the biggest and best party ever, with prices across the board that are reasonable and transparent. No hidden fees, no gimmicks. We're not sparing any expense on this tour, we're going over the top as always, but that doesn't mean we're going to ask the fans to pay more."

Rock also said that he is declaring war on scalpers by selling 1,000 premium seats for each show as Platinum Tickets via LiveNation.com. He plans to use paperless tickets whenever he can to help further reduce the risk of tickets falling into the hands of scalpers. He said, "Someone has to go out there and fight these high prices and change things up."

Ticketmaster, the nation's largest ticket seller, also announced plans to move to a paperless ticket format, leaving scalpers with nothing to sell. Ticketmaster's new system will allow ticket buyers to resell their paperless tickets without having to use the services of StubHub or other music event ticket brokers.

Tomorrow night (April 12) at 9 pm, catch Kid Rock when he returns to Piers Morgan Live Tonight on CNN, along with Live Nation CEO Michael Rapino, to discuss music and the "$20 Best Night Ever" tour.

The tour kicks off at the Burlington Steamboat Days Festival June 28 in Bristow, Va., and wraps up Sept. 15 at the LiveNation Amphitheater in Tampa, Fla. You can buy tickets online via Rock's website at KidRockRebelSoul.com.
