High-performance athletes are often compared to sports cars. "Fueling up" refers to an athlete's pre-activity meal, and that overachieving, never-take-a-play-off teammate is known as a "high-motor guy."
The latest Reebok campaign, featuring the new ZQUICK footwear collection, fuses the concept of sports cars and sports stars.
Denver Broncos RB Knowshon Moreno, who took us behind the scenes on the set of the ZQUICK shoot, stars along with UFC welterweight title contender Johny Hendricks and 2012 Olympic gold medal gymnast Aly Raisman.
In the Reebok spot, Moreno, Hendricks and Raisman race around the streets in their ZQUICK running shoes, displaying their unique athletic abilities to overcome obstacles and hazards along the roadways.
Moreno, of course, will be center stage on Sunday when he and the Broncs take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl XLVIII.
The ZQUICK running shoes will hit retail stores Finish Line and Dick's Sporting Goods on Saturday, Feb. 1, the day before Super Bowl Sunday. Or visit Reebok.com to shop for the ZQUICK kicks, available for a suggested retail price of $85.
