Kobe Bryant seems to be adjusting nicely to retirement. Since wrapping up his 20-year NBA career at the end of the regular season, Bryant has hatched many plans and projects, including training Shaquille O'Neal's son and going to Disneyland with his family.
Now, the Black Mamba will make a cameo appearance in the new Ghostbusters movie. The Players' Tribune, a website that gives athletes a platform to share their stories, posted a video with a sneak peek of Bryant's brief appearance in the film. The former Lakers star looks prepared to fight off poltergeists.
Bryant clearly wants to remain active. Along with his cameo appearance in the movie, he will also grace the cover of the legend edition of NBA 2K17. At an eSport event for the game on Wednesday night, he expressed interest in learning about the gaming world because of its ability to tell stories, according to For the Win's Alysha Tsuji.
Bryant was an assassin on the court, slicing and dicing defenders with tough pull-up moves and turnaround jumpers. Though he is no longer an active player, he seems to be on the right path toward a productive career beyond basketball.
