In every annual edition of Madden, slight gameplay tweaks make a big difference in how you call a game. With Madden 12's improved collision detection, players no longer slide into position, and the hit stick is not as powerful as it was in the past. Previously, it was a sure way to cause fumbles.
In such a competitive game, causing turnovers is the key to putting more points on the scoreboard. Additional possessions means more chances to rack up TDs. But is shooting for big hits every time you square up on defense the best way to cause those turnovers?
