With a league-high 17 sacks the previous year and the ink still drying on a fresh six-year, $61.5 million contract, Denver Broncos linebacker Elvis Dumervil went into the 2010 season looking to continue haunting opposing quarterbacks. Unfortunately, the curse of the torn pectoral muscle struck again, and Dumervil was scratched from both training camp and the season roster. In his absence, the Broncos went 4-12 and finished dead last in total defense, giving up almost 30 points per game.
