Nick Young—a.k.a. "Swaggy P"—has had his fair share of on-court bloopers.
Everyone remembers the time the Los Angeles Lakers guard confidently threw up the "3" sign only to see his shot rim out:
There was also the time he had an easy layup and threw the ball directly over the backboard:
During last night's game against the Brooklyn Nets, Young found himself in a befuddling situation once again. With the game tied 39-39 late in the second quarter, he inexplicably decided to pump fake on a free-throw attempt:

It's certainly possible that Young lost his grip on the ball, but if that was the case, why didn't he take more time to compose himself?
The referees called a double lane violation on the play, although Timofey Mozgov and D'Angelo Russell might have avoided stepping inside the paint. The Nets won the ensuing jump ball and scored on the next possession.
The legend of Swaggy P continues.
