Overkill Announces New PayDay 2 DLC & Next Community Event
Overkill will release the 17th DLC for PayDay 2, "The Overkill Pack," on March 21. The content unlocks three minigun mods, a new minigun, a rocket launcher, an escape van skin, a mask and 10 new achievements. It will cost $5. Pre-ordering it before March 12 will net players three gallons of "Hype Fuel," which can be used in the game's goal-based community event, "The Hype Train."
Each contribution of fuel helps the community move closer to various destinations, or goals, which unlock free content like heists and character packs. The train's final stop, at PayDayCon in L.A., will be reached after 2 million gallons have been contributed. The Hype Train ends on March 12, just ahead of the Spring Break event, which runs from March 13 to 21.
