Shawn Ryan, the brain behind The Shield, and David Wiener (The Killing) are writing the script for the movie, which was originally slated to include Sam Raimi and Tom Cruise. No actors are attached to the project yet, and a release date has not been announced. But the players working behind the scenes are impressive.

Affleck is currently involved in another WB property, the upcoming Batman vs. Superman movie, and he will soon begin work on his adaptation of Dennis Lehane's crime novel, Live by Night, slated for release in 2015. Damon is also busy. He will appear in Christopher Nolan's Interstellar, and he co-stars in the recently delayed The Monuments Men alongside George Clooney and Bill Murray. It will be released Feb. 7, 2014.
