Super Bowl Appearance Date: Jan. 30, 2000

This commercial actually first aired during a Monday Night Football game during the preceding regular season, but it become a pop culture phenomenon after airing at Super Bowl XXXIV.

Charles Stone III directed the ad, basing it off a short film he had created of himself and several of his childhood friends sitting around and saying "wassup?" to one another via telephone.

Stone III would go on to direct the films Drumline, Mr. 3000, and Uncle Drew.

The phrase "wassup?" would become a bonafide cultural phenomenon.

It went on to appear in everything from TV shows to major motion pictures to professional wrestling.

You'll probably be yelling it at a buddy tomorrow.
