It's the picture that launched a dynasty.
The 1999 FIFA Women's World Cup Final saw the USA square off against China.
The final took place in front of 90,000 fans at the Rose Bowl in Pasadena, California. It remains the largest crowd to ever watch a women's sporting event.
The two teams played to a scoreless draw during regular and extra time.
After several rounds of penalty kicks, it all came down to Brandi Chastain. Should she put the ball past China goalkeeper Gao Hong, the USA would win.
Chastain ripped a shot into the right side of the net, and the nation exploded into celebration.
She immediately ripped her jersey off in ecstasy, producing one of the most iconic photos in the history of women's athletics.
The moment was credited with inspiring many young girls around America to pursue soccer, which undoubtedly helped the run of dominance the USWNT has enjoyed since.
