The second episode of Game of Thrones season six sure was a doozy. Two lords were killed by their own family members, Ramsay Bolton did psychotic Ramsay stuff and Jon Snow came back from the dead [FINALLY!]
But let's not overlook the Mountain's brief but terrifying appearance.
A King's Landing common man was telling a few drunken jokes to a crowd at the expense of Cersei Lannister. He then made the mistake of going alone to urinate in an alley.
Apparently, Ser Robert Strong ("The Mountain," formerly known as Gregor Clegane) overheard the man's comments about Cersei, whose enemies he has vowed to vanquish. He approached the man in mid-stream, and proceeded to effortlessly smash his head into the wall with one hand, leaving him for dead.
Obviously no one was hurt during the filming of this scene; however it's not farfetched to think that the giant man played by actor and strongman Hafthór Júlíus Björnsson could be capable of such a horrifying feat of strength and brutality.
Just look at Björnsson perform what he calls an "easy set" of 10 reps on the Dumbbell Bench Press using 182-pound dumbbells. That's a lot of upper-body pressing strength.
The Mountain followed up his head-smashing by standing up against a squad of the King's knights. No blows were exchanged, but the men opposite him were shaking in their boots at the prospect of having to fight him.
