When athletes need to get hyped before a game or a fight, they each have their own individual routine. Often, the routine includes throwing on a pair of headphones and vibing out to some pre-game tunes. LeBron James has been known to listen to Jay-Z. Odell Beckham Jr. rocks out to his buddy Drake.
UFC heavyweight champion Stipe Miocic isn't a big music guy, but when he needs an audio boost to get himself in the right mindset to pummel a dude in the Octagon, there's only one option: Machine Gun Kelly.
"I don't really listen to music before a fight. I kind of just hang out with my coaches and joke around, have a good time and warm up," Miocic said. "But MGK gets me going. It's my ride or die."

Both Miocic and MGK hail from Cleveland, and both rep their cities hard. Miocic shows love to the city that raised him after winning a fight and MGK shouts out to CLE in a myriad of songs. Ahead of his recent win over Alistair Overeem, a fight held in Cleveland, Miocic walked out to MGK's "Till I Die."
