In fact, some of them even set PRs.

Case in point, Carolina Panthers' safety Eric Reid busting out a 55.5-inch Box Jump earlier this week:

That's some serious explosiveness from Reid, who's racked up nine tackles in two games so far this season.

While it's certainly an impressive feat of athleticism, young athletes should exercise caution with Box Jumps. They can be a phenomenal exercise, but their usefulness is dependent on respecting these five factors.
