Harrison Smith is a superstar.
The Minnesota Vikings safety is a four-time Pro Bowl selection and a two-time All-Pro.
In 2017, he received a season grade of 98.8 from Pro Football Focus—one of the highest season grades in the service's history.
To make Smith's dominant play all the more impressive, he does it on a stomach that contains almost nothing.
Smith doesn't have much of an appetite before games, so his pre-game meal is usually nothing more than a cup of coffee, half of a plain bagel and…a shot of straight Tabasco sauce.
"It wakes me up," Smith told ESPN of his pre-game Tabasco tradition. "I can't have too much coffee or I'll cramp up easily, but the hot sauce is mandatory."
