"We all know that Josh needs his fries before games," former teammate Kelly Olynyk told The Athletic in March.

But Richardson's stomach seems to handle it just fine, as he averaged 16.6 points per game last season.

Ultimately, everyone handles different foods differently, and the individual's specific response is the most important consideration of any pre-game meal.

As Orlando Magic guard Michael Carter-Williams told The Athletic, "I've seen some guys who can eat whatever and go out there and just hoop."
