It's often a big performance that leads an athlete to adopt a standardized pre-game meal.
Such was the case for Green Bay Packers receiver Davante Adams.
During his rookie season, Adams downed a salmon salad before a home game against the New England Patriots.
The meal powered him to 121 receiving yards on six receptions in a 26-21 Packers' victory, and it's stuck ever since.
"I eat the same thing every game—a salmon salad with cucumber, shredded cheese and ranch," the two-time Pro Bowl selection told ESPN.
"I did it for the first time before the Patriots game my rookie year, and I stuck with it."
