Who is Adama Traoré? Meet the Juggernaut of the Premier League

He's the strongest and faster player in the Premier League. He might be the best dribbler, too. For Wolves' fans, Adama Traoré is a dream come true.

Adama Traoré may change that.

If an F5 tornado hit a protein bar factory and learned to shoot and dribble, you may have something approaching the 23-year-old Wolverhampton star.

His thighs are the size of prize-winning watermelons. His biceps are built to break sleeves. But Traoré's massive muscles are no deadweight—on the contrary, he's the fastest player in the Premier League.

His most recent player card in FIFA 20 has him rated at 99 acceleration, 98 sprint speed and 89 strength. Fans have criticized that last number for being about 10 points too low.

Traoré was a freakish force during Wolves' recent 3-2 win over Manchester City (the show starts at the 1:18 mark):

Traoré's long possessed enormous physical potential, but he's now got the skills to match. By at least one measure, he's been the best dribbler in the Premier League so far this season.

The Spaniard recently made headlines when he told La Sexta that his workout routine does not include weights.

"I don't do weights. It's hard to believe, but I don't do weights. It's genetic. I exercise, but I gain mass very quickly," said Traoré.

While he may not lift heavily loaded barbells, Traoré absolutely engages in strength and power training. In the below video, he performs several intense exercises using what appears to be a flywheel-resistance device:

If the start of this video is any indication, he also knows his way around a Push-Up. There's not a ton of Traoré's training online, but he can also be seen performing Band-Resisted Jumps, Banded Bird Dogs, and Weighted Hanging Knee Raises.

Suffice to say: his training might not be the most traditional (which isn't necessarily a bad thing), but Traoré absolutely spends time in the gym.

Traoré's fantastic form has spurred a myriad of transfer rumors, including a potential deal with Real Madrid. In the mean time, he believes there's still potential waiting to be tapped.

"If I am the same Adama of yesterday, it's one day lost," he recently told The Athletic. "This is how I work."
